Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban are currently on tour in New Zealand for the very first time, and the two country stars fittingly teamed up for a live duet.

Urban enlisted Underwood for a studio version of "The Fighter" earlier this year. The song appeared on his Ripcord album.

Underwood appeared live beside Urban on Dec. 3 in Wellington, New Zealand, and had as much fun on stage as the audience watching along. Urban began the beat-heavy track alone with his band on the first verse before the audience began screaming as Underwood walked up the stage stairs to join him on the chorus. Once Urban took back over on lead vocals, Underwood could be seen dancing along and mouthing to the words.

Not only was it the first time these country superstars performed "The Fighter" live together, but it was also the first time they each played a concert in New Zealand. After the show, Urban shared his excitement to be in the country and his appreciation to the fans who knew all the words to his songs:

"I was shocked and blown away that you guys knew every song," Urban says. "It was phenomenal. I had the best time. I wasn't expecting that. We never played here before and I thought you guys might know a handful of songs and it was just beyond my wildest dreams tonight."
