News of an American Idol judges shake-up was confirmed when Randy Jackson announced that he would be leaving the show at the end of this season. The fate of the other 3 judges have been rumored to be in jeopardy as well. Keith Urban's appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' today put to rest a few of those rumors.

Urban says "of course Randy's leaving, as he said, and I'm gonna be replacing Randy, which is fantastic." So we now know Urban has been asked back and has accepted his place at the judges table for next season. Will Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey be back? That is still to be determined.

Ellen then asked Urban who he thought would win the competition he answered with a humorous "I think it's a girl's year to win. I'm not a betting man but I like the odds." The final two competing for the crown Wednesday (May 15th) are Kree Harrison and Candice Glover. Urban went on to say "it's anyone's ballgame at this point."

Usually Urban takes his guitar along but this time he had to drum on the table instead, when Ellen asked him to sing a bit of his new single 'Little Bit of Everything' from his upcoming album.
