It's been a fulfilling 2013 for Kenny Rogers. This year has seen The Gambler (finally) inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as well as release new music with legendary duet partner Dolly Parton. And now, he'll be honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 CMA Awards.

The country music legend will also be honored by the likes of Jennifer Nettles, Darius Rucker and Rascal Flatts at the CMA's. This will be the second year of the Lifetime Achievement Award, with the honor's namesake, Willie Nelson the inaugural recipient in 2012.

The award is the CMA's effort to recognize someone who has achieved international fame through country music as well as humanitarian efforts. Worldwide, Kenny Rogers has sold for than 165 million albums. Eleven of his albums topped the country music charts, and Kenny has charted nearly 2 dozen #1 singles.

Rogers has taken home a lot of hardware for his efforts. In his stellar career, Kenny has picked up dozens of honors and awards, including CMA's, 7 Academy of Country Music Awards and 13 American Music Awards.

The 2013 CMA's will be televised on ABC, and KEAN-105 will broadcast the awards show in its entirety on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00pm. Jeremy, host of Taste of Country Nights will be on hand giving us regular updates starting Monday, November 4th.
