In the past few months, the Lady Antebellum family has expanded substantially: The trio's Dave Haywood welcomed his second child, a daughter named Lillie Renee, in December, while Hillary Scott gave birth to twin girls, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, in late January. Their performance at Sunday night's (April 15) 2018 ACM Awards will be their first since the three new arrivals, and Haywood, Scott and Charles Kelley say they're "excited" about getting onstage.

"It's a really fun set, the way it's all kinda coming together," Scott tells WYRK's Liz Mantel and Clay Moden, who are in Las Vegas, Nev., for ACM Awards festivities. Lady Antebellum will be performing their newest single, "Heart Break," the music video for which was filmed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, "so we're bringing a little bit of Puerto Rico to Vegas," Scott adds.

"Heart Break" is the title track of Lady Antebellum's newest album, released in June. The trio wrote the song in Rosemary Beach, Fla., based on an idea of Haywood's, about turning the word "heartbreak" into the idea of giving your heart a break, rather than being brokenhearted.

"I love the concept of the lyric of just not jumping from one relationship to the next, but finding a stronger version of yourself before you hop into a relationship with someone else," Scott says. "It just was that song that we felt like we could craft the rest of the album around."

Lady Antebellum will be spending this summer on the road with a fellow 2018 ACM Awards performer, Darius Rucker. Their Summer Plays On Tour will begin in July.

The 2018 ACM Awards are set to air live on CBS beginning at 8PM ET. The ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena; Reba McEntire will be hosting the show.
