Lady Antebellum are now part of the Big Machine Label Group family. The country trio announced their signing with BMLG on Tuesday (Sept. 4).

Lady Antebellum were previously signed to Capitol Records Nashville, part of the Universal Music Group family. Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott signed with Capitol Nashville in July of 2007. They released six full-length studio albums, as well as one Christmas record and two EPs, with the label.

“We have been truly blessed throughout our career to work with some of the brightest people in music. We’ve watched BMLG become the powerhouse they are from the sidelines and couldn’t be more excited to become part of their family," says Scott in a press release. "We hope to honor all the people who have been part of our story over the last 10 years -- can’t wait to work with some old friends again and are excited for where it takes us all together!"

Lady A's signing with BMLG reunites the trio with a number of label staff members with whom Lady A worked early on in their career. BMLG President and CEO Scott Borchetta and BMLG Records President Jimmy Harnen also both worked with Scott's parents, Linda Davis and Lang Scott, while at DreamWorks Records.

“Lady Antebellum is the consummate vocal group. Hillary, Charles and Dave have a special chemistry that only the greatest bands of all time have, and what you see is what they sing -- and it's the sort of thing no label can create, only magnify," says Borchetta. "I am delighted that we get to assist them in writing the next chapter in their extraordinary career.”

Lady Antebellum last released new music in 2017. Following a hiatus in 2016, during with all three members pursued solo endeavors, the trio came back together for their album Heart Break. They are, the press release reports, currently working on new music.
