Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs are set to perform on A Capitol Fourth on PBS on July 4. The country singers will join an all-star lineup for the television special that includes Jimmy Buffett, the Beach Boys, Pentatonix, the Temptations and CeCe Winans, among others, for the celebration.

The Fourth of July special airing on PBS is the country's longest-running live televised broadcast. Actor John Stamos will serve as host of the day's festivities, which also include Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

“You can’t get more patriotic than this!” Stamos says in a statement. “I’m excited to carry on this July 4th TV tradition for the American people and especially proud to honor our veterans. You don’t want to miss it!”

The annual TV special will broadcast live on PBS at 8PM/7PM CT from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Twenty cameras located throughout Washington, D.C., will allow viewers the best seat in the house for the fireworks display later that evening.

This is far from the first time country music has been present as part of the 4th of July celebration. In previous years Reba McEntireDolly Parton, Faith Hill and Kenny Rogers have also been performers on the televised special.

Combs was forced to cancel several performances recently to go on doctor-ordered vocal rest due to losing his voice following his set at CMA Fest 2018. A Capitol Fourth will mark one of his first performances back onstage.
