Lee Greenwood Releases New Music After 5 Years [VIDEO]

YouTube the name Lee Greenwood and what pops up? Over 100 versions of  “God Bless The USA” by Lee Greenwood. So it comes as no surprise to me that Mr. Greenwood has just released a new project.

Country music legend Lee Greenwood has not just been sitting around collecting royalty checks for the one song that redefined his career. Greenwood has been touring, raising a family, supporting our military troops and recently recording and songwriting. Now for the first time in over 5 years we get brand new music form Lee. Although the project is not a full album he released what is becoming very popular in the music industry releasing a new EP disc, “I Want To Be In Your World.” The entire project was co-produced by Greenwood, Butch Baker and Tony Smith.

“I Want To Be In Your World” can be previewed online at Greenwood’s record label Tate Music Group. Grammy winner Greenwood recorded three of his own songs for this project. “Choosing songs to record is always exciting. I love lyrics that have depth and emotion, I am thankful for the many writers & artists who have contributed to my career,” says Greenwood.

Greenwood recorded the poignant ballad, “I Can Let Go Now,” which was written by pop superstars Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins.
