LSU has reportedly fired head coach Les Miles just four games into the 2016 season.

The move comes a day after an 18-16 loss to Auburn in which LSU managed just 338 yards of total offense. Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was also let go after LSU has averaged just 339.5 yards per game this season (111th nationally). The Tigers have scored just one offensive touchdown in each of their losses and is the only team in FBS that has failed to score in the fourth quarter of the game this year.

Miles barely survived an effort to oust him last year after the team's first three-game losing streak since 1999. But a 2-2 start (LSU's worst four-game mark since Miles took over in 2005) and the meat of the SEC schedule still ahead sealed his fate this year.

Defensive line coach Ed Orgeron will reportedly take over as interim head coach.

Miles leaves with the second highest winning percentage (.770) and second-most wins (114) in school history, along with two SEC titles and the 2007 national championship.
