Lost Trailers Lead Singer Jason Wyatt Announces Resignation from Band
Jason Wyatt, lead singer of country duo the Lost Trailers announced his resignation from the band Thursday (April 17).
There isn’t bad blood between him and Stokes Nielson, his band partner. Instead, Wyatt simply wants to focus on restarting his solo career, focusing on the growth of his music production, songwriting, and artist development company, Jason Wyatt Productions.
“I really appreciate these last few years with the Trailers,” says Wyatt. “I have loved playing to all of the great fans around the country. All I can say is stay excited … there’s a lot more to come.”
Wyatt joined the Lost Trailers in 2011, and they had several small hits throughout that period, including their first single with Wyatt, called ‘Underdog.’ Prior to Wyatt, the first version of the band had a Top 10 hit with ‘Holler Back.’
In the next chapter of his shifting country career, the ‘American Beauty‘ singer is signed on as a consultant and producer with ‘American Country Star,’ the Nashville-based national music competition for aspiring country artists. He is also working on his upcoming solo album, slated for a 2014 release in the 4th quarter.
