What a winning streak for Luke Bryan. The country superstar took home Artist of the Year honors at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards on Sunday night (May 1).

Bryan took home Male Vocalist of the Year honors earlier in the evening, also giving his fans a high-energy version of his current single, "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day." The song is the latest release from his massive hit album, Kill the Lights.

"Thank you so much. What an honor," the beaming singer said in his acceptance speech after being announced by Dwight Yoakam. "Thank you to all the fans that are here, and to the Coundownt and Kix [Brooks], thank you for all you do for glorifying country music and making it so special. To my guys out there on the road ... what an amazing year we've had," pausing as he got emotional.

"This is kind of getting me right now," he confessed, continuing by thanking, "Everybody in my world that makes this happen ... my wife, my kids, my label, my management. My people that make me look kinda okay in front of you all out there on the road," he said, wrapping up by thanking the fan again and country radio.
