Mallary Hope was asked to sing at the graveside burial of Craig Morgan's son, Jerry Greer, over the weekend and in a heartfelt post on Facebook, she asks fans to keep the family in their prayers.

"I can not imagine the pain of losing a child," the expectant mother writes. "I ask that everyone keep Craig, Karen, their children & family in your prayers as they say their earthly goodbyes to their son. I know that they love God & pray they find comfort in what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians."

She then quotes the bible verse: "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

As born again believers, God gives us hope during difficult times to remind us, that this is not the end. God sent his one and only son Jesus to die for all of our sins. All we have to do is believe in him. Believe it and we can have that eternal life that he promises.
(John 3.16.)

Hope adds that her heart is heavy for the family, and while there is nothing she can say or do to make the pain go away, she can help through the power of prayer and urges others to do the same.

Morgan's son was laid to rest on Saturday (July 16). His body was found Monday (July 11) after going missing from a day on the water on Kentucky Lake in northern Tennessee. He was involved in a tubing accident and did not resurface, despite the fact that he was wearing a life jacket.
