Modern country outlaw Margo Price has announced that she'll team up with (who else?) Willie Nelson to develop her own strain of marijuana. According to High Times, Price selected an indica strain thanks to its ability to relax her back pain and relieve insomnia. The as-yet-unnamed strain will be released in collaboration with Nelson's Willie's Reserve cannabis brand, but no release date for it has been set just yet.

In the Virgin Islands, Kenny Chesney was presented with the St. John School of the Arts Hero Award in recognition of his charitable work on the island after Hurricane Irma. According to the St. John Source, Chesney owned a home on St. John until Irma destroyed it and has since delivered "truckloads" of musical instruments to the school, among other charitable endeavors. While visiting St. John School of the Arts, Chesney reportedly got to hear original compositions from its burgeoning songwriters and played a few tunes for the kids.
