Welcome back a friendly yet familiar voice to country music, Mark Chesnutt. I had to do a double take when I first heard the new song "When The Lights Go Out." I didn't realize how bad I missed hearing Chesnutt's voice on the radio. As Mark stages a come back, it's quite fitting that he leads off with a love song, and I think it fits him well.

The last we heard anything from Mr. Chesnutt he was doing a bunch of cover tunes from his 2010 "Outlaw" album featuring classics like Hank Jr.'s "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound", Marshall Tucker Bands' "Heard It In aLove Song" and Kris Kristofferson's "Sunday Morning Coming Down."

It now appears, that Mark Chesnutt has re-channeled his energies and is now going with some much simpler things. "When The Lights Go Out," is a song that at the end of the day, the only thing that truly matters to him is the love he has for his significant other and knowing that the feeling is mutual. Check it out for yourself and give me your thoughts on Mark making a come-back.
