Miranda Lambert delivered another flawless performance of her most recent single, “Vice,” on Ellen on Wednesday (Dec. 7), bringing her subtle confidence and stunning beauty to the set to promote her new album.

Lambert has taken to beginning the tune live with only her voice, kicking the band in on the first refrain, always coming in on time and on pitch. The solo vocals bring a solemn air to the performance with a hint of sass, which for Lambert is a winning combination. Her passion and conviction in the lyrics is evident whenever she sings “Vice,” and fans can feel it from the first note.

"Vice" is just one of the 24 tracks on Lambert’s new double album, The Weight of These Wings, which is packed with honest, well-crafted songs reflecting the ups and downs of the last year since her divorce from Blake Shelton.

But not all of the tunes are breakup songs. One love song even features her current boyfriend, singer-songwriter Anderson East. Another, “We Should Be Friends," is a spunky tribute to the commonalities that would make a person friendship material for Lambert — i.e. stained T-shirts and a "mind as cluttered as your kitchen sink." The song serves as the second single from the record.

“Vice" is nominated for two Grammy Awards at the 2017 ceremony, including Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song. “To have such a personal song as #vice be nominated means the world,” Lambert wrote on Instagram after hearing the news.
