Although NBC's hit competitive reality talent show 'The Voice' didn't win any Emmys this year, losing the award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Show to CBS's 'Amazing Race,' at least it was nominated. And it doesn't mean the Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton-coached series lacks a decent fan base. It doesn't, and the recent announcement from NBC that 'The Voice' is getting renewed for both a fifth and sixth season is proof of that.

Yes, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt announced in a press release (via Deadline) that 'The Voice' will be returning in all its glory for two more seasons. "This pickup will assure the many dedicated ‘Voice’ fans that this innovative show will continue to bring some of the most talented new voices to the world’s attention through all of next year," he said.

Since 'The Voice' season 3 premiered on September 9, the show has been generating strong ratings and recently introduced Usher and Shakira to the coach rotations for season 4. Levine and Shelton will stick around through the end of next season, but Aguilera and Cee Lo are taking the spring 2013 season off to focus on their own music ventures.
