Old Dominion lead singer lead singer Matthew Ramsey says "One Man Band" — their new song — is the first true love song that the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year have ever put out.

"One of the things we talk about the most in this band is how we can't imagine being on this crazy ride alone," Ramsey says in a press release about the new song. "We have each other to celebrate the highs and get through the challenges with. It's one of the best parts of being a band. Sure, you can make music alone. But if you find people you have a chemistry with a whole new world opens up."

Old Dominion have touched on the topic of love before, in singles like "Hotel Key" and “Written in the Sand."  "One Man Band" takes it a step further.

"You can go it alone," Ramsey continues. "But sometimes there is another person out there that adds something to your 'music' that you would have never had on your own. That's the show you want to take on the road. That's what this song is about."

The band recently postponed a few upcoming shows due to Ramsey's surgery that will force him to take some time off in February, but the band sounds like they are more than ready to get back on the road to play some of their new music.

“We're so excited to show you what we've been working on for 2019," they write alongside a concert video of just what fans can look forward to. The band's Make It Sweet Tour launches Friday (Jan. 18).
