Restaurants Opening in Abilene in 2017
We sure do love ‘going out to eat’ here in Abilene and judging by the looks of things, that won’t change anytime soon. There are a number of new restaurants opening this year, so belly up and get ready for some new grub.

According to their Facebook page, Chipotle serves “Burritos, Tacos, Bowls, Salads. Not necessarily in that order”.
In my opinion, it’s not what they serve, it’s how they make what they serve.
At Chipotle, you can expect the best, freshest of ingredients.
We don’t have an scheduled grand opening yet.
What makes Raising Cane’s unique is that they only serve chicken strips, french fries, Texas Toast, cole slaw, and gravy.
That’s it – and it’s delicious!
Raising Cane’s should open between May and June.
Sam’s serves up seafood and a variety of southern-style cuisine, all in very generous portions.
Sam’s is now open.
According to the Abilene Reporter News, Dunkin Donuts expect to open in Abilene by year’s end.
You might remember, we had Dunkin Donuts back in the day and now that the world is amidst a java craze, DD is definitely welcome in the Key City.
Over 200 dishes will be available, ranging from Chinese to Japanese to Western cuisine.
Their Facebook page mentions opening “in the next few weeks”.
Luigi’s Burgers and Subs
Owned by the same man, Lodovik Tetaj, that owns Little Italy. Like Little Italy, you’ll get incredible portions of delicious, freshly prepared food.
Luigi’s Burgers and Subs is now open.
The Flour Shop Bakery is adding a salad bar buffet and soups for lunch, Monday-Friday.
The Bakery is open now at 421 Pine.
Potter’s Pizza will be setting up shop in the old Power Shack Gym location on Buffalo Gap Road.
Potter’s Pizza will serve up a pizza buffet and salad bar.
Their Facebook page says they’ll open in March 2017.
