Robert De Niro Welcomes a Newborn Daughter at 68?
Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, 68, and his wife of almost 15 years, Grace Hightower, 56, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Helen Grace, who was recently born via surrogate.
De Niro and Hightower, who renewed their vows in 2004 after a brief split, also have a 13-year-old son, Elliot. In addition, baby Helen has several half-siblings — the two adult children De Niro had with his first wife, and the 16-year-old twin brothers born to his ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith.
Naturally, this new edition to the De Niro-Hightower family raises some eyebrows. By the time De Niro is 70 years old, the newborn will only be 2. Furthermore, Helen will be starting her teen years when De Niro starts is 80s. Still, these couple aren’t the first older parents to have more kids.
