Don’t Worry — UFC Babe Ronda Rousey Has Plenty of Sex
How long should a fighter abstain from sexual activity before fight night? Well, if you ask UFC femme fetal Ronda Rousey, they shouldn’t – not even a little. Go on, beautiful woman talking about sex. We're listening.
In fact, in a recent interview on Showtime with Jim Rome, Rousey said that she makes every effort to have as much sex as possible right before going toe-to-toe with an opponent.
"For girls it raises your testosterone so I try to have as much sex as possible before I fight, actually." Said Rousey. "Not with like, everybody. I don't put out Craigslist ads or anything. But if I got a steady I'm going to be like, 'Yo, fight time's coming up."
Apparently, abstinence does not have many positive effects on male fighters either. A study published in National Geographic magazine in 2006 reported that the idea that sex suppresses a man’s testosterone is completely false. Additional research also found that while sex may deter focus in professional athletes, abstaining for too long can actually lead to the body producing less testosterone.
However, for us normal dudes, it is difficult to even keep our eyes open after a rigorous sex-fest ending in a blackout orgasm. So, if you plan on coming out swinging, it might not be a bad idea to come out at least half cocked.
