Sam Hunt will perform as part of the PGA Tour's annual Military Appreciation Day ceremony on May 9. The kickoff day of the Players Championship, which runs from May 9-14, Hunt's set will be held on the 17th hole at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

The Players will honor men and women in uniform with discounted and free tickets to the tournament, as well as special events. All active, reserve and retired military and their dependents will be able to enter the tournament for free throughout the week. Hunt's concert is free to any Tuesday ticket holder.

“I’m extremely excited to perform for our troops on the famed 17th hole during the Players Championship,” Hunt remarks in a press release. “This tournament does so much to support the men and women serving our country. I am grateful to be a part of the festivities and am looking forward to putting on a great show.”

Hunt's concert will be held at 6:30PM on May 9, following the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony at 6PM.

“We are eagerly anticipating the 2017 Military Appreciation Day concert with Sam Hunt,” Kevin English, 2017 Volunteer Chairman, adds. “Fans will have access to the amenities located around the famous Island Green, like our permanent restroom facilities and various food and beverage options.”
