The wrestling bug is hard to shake. Guys like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and The Rock always come back to the squared-circle. Lately, there have been rumblings that another legend of the WWE is about to join the rest of the boys on the road. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels has been confirmed by the WWE to be making appearances on May 24, 25 and 26 in Canada.

John Cena will not be making these dates, and adding Michaels is a big boost in the star power department. The New Age Outlaws will also be on the card for these dates, so expect some De-Generation X business to be popping off in "The Great White North." If Triple-H ends up on any of the shows, D-X becomes a downright guarantee.

There's no word on how Michaels will participate in the shows, but just having him there is a good thing. I, of course, would love to see more matches from "Mr. WrestleMania," but I'm not getting my hopes up. He could just be showing up to do a few crotch chops, or perhaps to give Paul Heyman some more "Sweet Chin Music" (see: WrestleMania 29).

I'm hopeful that this is just the beginning, and we get to see Shawn Michaels on WWE TV in a regular role. Imagine if he becomes Raw GM, Vickie Guerrero goes back to managing, and we get to see the hilarity of Brad Maddox working for Shawn Michaels. There are plenty of things for the HBK to do for WWE, and I look forward to hearing what comes of these dates.
