Are you guys ready for another remake of a campy 80s horror classic? The trailer for 'Silent Night' has arrived and somehow makes Santa even creepier than we already thought he was.

Yes, Santa Claus is creepy. He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows all the good and bad stuff you're up to all the time, like when you don't eat your vegetables or text your mom back when she asks you why you still don't have babies. Santa Claus is a straight-up creeper, so it's good to see a holiday movie finally embrace that -- too bad it's 'Silent Night,' a remake of 1984's 'Silent Night, Deadly Night,' starring Jaime King, Malcolm McDowell (because of course), Donal Logue, Ellen Wong, Lisa Marie (wait... really?), and Brendan Fehr.

And as Slashfilm points out, the voice at the end of the trailer sounds an awful lot like Willem Dafoe, who might have been bored enough between Lars von Trier movies to actually participate in this thing.

The film follows a sheriff (McDowell) and his deputy (King) as they try and track down a murderous psycho in a Santa suit on the eve of their small town's big Christmas parade. It seems this nutty guy is killing everyone who he thinks has been naughty -- but like, what are his standards for "naughtiness"? Are we talking about killing people for picking their nose and not tipping their waiters well, or some serious stuff like adultery and putting ketchup on steak?

Anyway, here's the new trailer for the remake from Anchor Bay, which hits theaters on November 30.
