Spirit Airlines Gives Away 5.5 Million Bonus Miles in Abilene

We got a visit from the Spirit Airlines marketing department in Abilene on Thursday April 26th, their reason for being here was to say thanks to all Texans and to give-away 20,000 frequent flyer bonus mile vouchers. Each voucher is good for one free round trip airline ticket (not including airline fees and taxes) to approximately 20 cities where Spirit Airlines flies.

The line in front of the Travel Factory on Southwest Drive had begun forming at 11am, when the first voucher was handed out at 12 noon there were close to a hundred people in line. The last voucher was given away at 2:15pm. Some of the cities that Spirit Airlines services are, Las Vegas, Orlando, Atlanta, Atlantic City, Boston, Cancun, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Juan, San Diego, Toluca/Mexico City and at least a half dozen more cities. The vouchers will get you an airline ticket on Spirit, but beware there are “airline fees and taxes” that you will have to pay, other than that, these will come in handy when I’ll need to go see my son graduate from Naval School in Chicago. Thank you Spirit Airlines you just made our family very happy.
