A Canadian artist is doing some totally awesome things with crappy paintings he found in a thrift shop. And like most things in life, a little bit of 'Star Wars' makes them a whole lot better.

David Vancook scoured some local stores for bargain-basement landscape paintings (the kind your friend's mom had hanging on the wall of her living room to class it up) and then added Boba Fett, Darth Vader, AT-ATs and other galaxy icons for his Second Hand Star Wars series.

You can see some of our favorite pieces below, but Vancook has a few others on his Facebook page. And yes, these beauties are for sale.

The 8"x10" prints go for $18.43, which is a bargain for a classic work like 'Boba Fett: Intergalactic Matador.'
