Storm Chasers Get Hammered With Hail in Stephenville Storm

It's a fact that everything is bigger in Texas - even hail. That's something that these storm chasers found out when they were caught in the huge thunderstorm that rocked Stephenville, Texas recently.

Live Storms Media storm chasers, Spencer and Lawrence were chasing a storm that was rolling through Stephenville, Texas recently when their vehicle was hammered by hail the size of grapefruits. As you can see in the video (above) the grapefruit-sized hail, and bigger, shattered their windshield with ease.

The one thing that is kind of weird, and what other commenters mentioned, was that one of the guys seems overly concerned about tweeting.

Now, I get the whole social media thing and getting things out there for the world to see as fast as possible. But, I think I would be more concerned about getting my rear end to a safer place, rather than getting on Twitter. I'm just saying.

Still, it's some great footage, and a reminder of how dangerous these Spring storms are in Texas.
