Christy an Animal Control Officer said "Suzie was an owner turn in, simply because the owner could no longer afford to feed herself let along her dog too. So after eight years Susie's owner brought her here to the Animal Control Shelter. She needs to go to a good home."

The two winning communities are in the process of being determined and will be announced in the coming weeks. I'll keep you posted as to who the winners are.
