December 21, 2012 is according to many doomsday believers, the end of earth as we know it. People from all walks of life are in fear that apocalyptic events will materialize in the year 2012. There have even been predictions by some that a rogue Planet-X, will come crashing into the earth. However, if you ask those in the know at NASA they say that the “most exciting” thing we earth-lings will experience in 2012, is the winter solstice or the longest night of the year. When that happens, it will end the 13th cycle of the mythical Maya creation, but astronomers are quick to point out, that there is nothing to be concerned about.
