Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene Will Host Special Memorial Day Ceremonies for Veterans

Texas State Veterans Cemetery (TSVC) in Abilene will be holding a very special ceremony for all veterans Monday, May 27, Memorial Day beginning at 10:00am. This ceremony will honor all veterans and will feature Retired U.S. Army Brigadier General Robert J. Strader as the events guest speaker. Veterans, their families and friends are all encouraged to attend this special event.

26th Annual 'TET Reunion' for Veterans is Scheduled for February 2nd in Abilene

The 26th Annual 'TET Reunion' honoring all Veterans, is scheduled for Saturday, February 2nd starting at 12:00 noon at the Taylor County Expo center. All Veteransand their families are welcomed, and encouraged to bring their photo's and memorabilia from their era of service. The TET reunion was started by Vietnam Vets but is open to all Vets, no matter the era of service. There will be food, drinks, displays, memorabilia and a USO kind of show.

The grand opening of the new VA clinic in Abilene is taking place Monday January 9th at 10:30am. Helping with the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies is Congressman Randy Neugebauer, the Congressman will be the featured speaker too.
