Brandy Reed the organizer for the Texas Thunder Music Festival says "all of the Texas music artists coming to perform have agreed to donate 100% of the proceeds to the people of West, Texas." Who are these generous Texas musicians that are performing during the three day event? They are The Randy Rogers Band, Josh Abbott, Charlie Robison, Aaron Watson, Mickey and the Motorcars, Wade Bowen. Stoney LaRue and about 20 more Texas music artists.

Before the month of September passes us by, I think we should all participate in 'National Preparedness Month' as it's designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). We all know how fast and how bad the weather gets here in West Texas. If (heaven forbid), a tornado or flood should hit or a wild-fire takes your home, are you ready? Here's a couple of my ideas and what FEMA recommends.
