Taylor Swift has earned a Golden Globe nomination for the second year in a row! The singer has nabbed a shot at a Globe with her song 'Sweeter Than Fiction' from the 2013 film 'One Chance.'

The 2014 Golden Globe nominations were announced Thursday, (Dec. 12) and head-to-head with Swift for Best Original Song are tracks from 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' 'Frozen,' 'Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom' and 'Inside Llewyn Davis.'

Last year, Swift was nominated for her tune 'Safe and Sound' with the Civil Wars, which appeared on the soundtrack for 'The Hunger Games.' She unfortunately lost to Adele, so this year is another chance at being able to display that gleaming golden globe in her vast array of trophies and awards.

Swift wrote 'Sweeter Than Fiction' for 'One Chance' because she was so deeply impacted by Paul Potts of 'Britain's Got Talent,' whom the story is about. She explains, "Getting to see the struggles and triumphs of someone who never stopped chasing what he was after really inspired me."

Apparently, Swift's musical excellence coupled with the film's dramatic story inspired the Hollywood Foreign Press Association enough to seal the deal on a nomination. Also up for a 2014 Golden Globe is 'Nashville' actress Hayden Panettiere, who is hoping to snag Best Supporting Actress in a Series.

Comedy's leading ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will again host the awards show, which is set to air Jan. 12 on NBC.
