Taylor Swift invited one of her "favorite lead singers of one of my favorite all-time bands" to join her onstage at the third sold-out show of her three-night stand in Newark, New Jersey last night (March 29.) Swift brought the pop-rock singer Pat Monahan of the band Train onstage to sing his band's song 'Drive By.'

Before welcoming Monahan to her stage, Swift noted that the New Jersey crowd's passionate support of her trio of shows deserved a "thank you" in the form of a special guest performer. It was like her gift to the the loyal, dedicated fans!

Monahan appeared on stage, dressed in all black, descending the staircase, singing the first verse of the lyrics, with the Swift crowd singing in unison, nearly drowning him out. Clearly, T. Swift fans are also Train fans. They know and like good music!

Swift was having a grand old time, rocking out, dancing like a maniac and shaking her thing while Monahan sang his verse and chorus. In that sense, she was no different than her fans -- loving, enjoying and geeking out to a song and an artist she loves.

Swift sang the second verse and clearly, 'Drive By' is one of her favorite Train songs.

She then asked the Jersey crowd to show Monahan what they are truly like and to keep their hands in the air for the remainder of the song. They obliged.

It was another fun duet at a Taylor Swift show.
