Superstar Taylor Swift is spending a lot of time in her new idyllic oceanfront home, using it as a relaxing getaway when she has a few days off of her 2013 Red Tour. She was on the island over Memorial Day weekend, dining with none other than the 'Girls' star Lena Dunham.

According to Life & Style, the two newfound friends were spotted out at lunch at Olympia Tea Room in Rhode Island. The celebrities had quite the entourage with them, including Swift's 'Everything Has Changed' cohort Ed Sheeran, actress Hailee Steinfeld (who has been spotted before with the songstress) and 'Gossip Girl' actress Jessica Szohr. Also joining in on the lunchtime outing was Dunham's boyfriend, Jack Antonoff, the guitarist from the band fun.

Swift has been vocal about her adoration for the 'Girls' creator and star, saying, "I’ve always been really blown away by how she’s so young -- she’s in her mid 20s -- and she does all these things. She creates so much. When I found out she listens to my music, it absolutely floored me. It made my day, honestly.”

Dunham has equal admiration for Swift. “I feel like the way she uses autobiography in her work and the way she calls out guys who have, you know, fronted on her before, but at the same time there is something sort of affectionate and non-judgmental about her music that I appreciate," the actress says. "Clearly, with the mutual respect for each other's work and accomplishments, they were able to become fast friends.

With the songstress' recent smashing performance on 'New Girl' and lots of compliments from the cast, it may not be long before she appears on the hit HBO drama with Dunham. Since the show is about girls in their twenties, and Swift has the perfect soundtrack in '22,' it could be a match just waiting to happen.
