Terrifying Video of Couple Being Swept Out to Sea by Giant Wave in Biarritz, France

A video has captured a very tragic event involving a couple who were walking along a rocky coastal path in Biarritz, France, and were swept out to sea after a huge wave crashes down on them.

According to The Local, a French online news site, three people were walking along a rocky path, known by the locals as a dangerous area. All of a sudden, a huge wave came crashing down on them. A man was able to escape in the nick of time, but the wave swept a man and a woman out to sea. The man was found after 20 minutes and, apparently, is in good condition in a hospital. Meanwhile, the woman has, sadly, not been found.
