Texas Gun & Knife Show at the Abilene Civic Center This Weekend

The Texas Gun & Knife Show will return to Abilene this weekend at the Abilene Civic Center. There will be plenty for hunters, fishers, and all around outdoor enthusiasts. The show will have a number of vendors with goods from books, jewelry, sports equipment to of course, guns and knives.

I remember one of the first gun and knife shows I went to as a kid was this particular show. I went with my dad and at that time most of it was a bore for me. However, I did walk out with a pretty sweet pocket knife. It was silver and engraved with this beautiful scroll work. I still have that knife!

Today it's a bit more interesting for me; I actually like to check out the guns. Being a gun owner these days I have more interest in the show. There will be plenty to see; and buy!
