While Texas is tops in several things, including BBQ and being a sex-happy state, there is one thing the Lone Star State apparently ranks pretty bad in - road trips.

The website Wallet Hub basically used 20 different metrics to see which states offered the most fun, at the lowest cost. Using attractions, road conditions, costs and weather, the website came up with their rankings which ranks Texas at 34th.

To say the results surprised me is an understatement. You would think that being one of the biggest states in America would have made our ranking a lot higher.

Plus, we have some the coolest scenery to see, some of the best food, and we're friendlier than any other state. But, sadly when it comes to road conditions, lodging and attractions, we're bottom feeders.

Check out the top 10 list and where Texas ranks.

1. Oregon
2. Nevada
3. Minnesota
4. Washington
5. Ohio
6. Utah
7. Wyoming
8. Colorado
9. North Carolina
10. Idaho
34. Texas

While Nevada, and even Colorado, should be at the top of this list, the real surprise is how Oregon is at the top. Oregon? Really? Who the heck wants to go to Oregon?

You can check out the rest of the list, as well as the method to their madness on Wallet Hub's website.

What do you think? Where should Texas rank on this list?
