Let's get one thing straight, I am not afraid of zombies, I am just creeped out by them, I don't like them and I dang sure don't want to be around them, ever! Now, if this is your cup of tea then knock yourself out cowboy, run till your hearts content. Will I help out the Buffalo Gap Historical Village (BGHV) with their annual fundraiser? You bet, but this "Fearless" deejay will not be dodging zombies on the back roads of Buffalo Gap.

I want everyone to know that this is not just a 5K fun run, this is about raising enough money to help renovate the historical buildings that were once the 'county seat' for Taylor county before it was moved to the bigger, better city of Abilene. There are some that will tell you "Abilene stole the county seat by bribing the judge." Nothing could be further from the truth, we won it fair and square. That being settled, Heather Reed Marketing Director for the Buffalo Gap Historical Village said "the buildings are in need of repair and this 5K Zombie Run is one of our major fundraisers." So, if you'd like to, according to Heather "run as if your life depended on it, then this is for you."
