The John Wayne Film Festival Returns to Snyder Texas [VIDEO]
The ‘John Wayne Film Festival’ (JWFF) is returning to Snyder, Texas for the second year in a row. The festival is set for Labor Day weekend, August 31st through September 2nd. The historic Ritz Theater on the square in Snyder is where you’ll see some of the Duke’s most popular movies on the big screen.
The festival begins Friday at noon with the classic Rio Lobo, and includes the showing of True Grit, Red River, The Quiet Man and The Green Berets. The JWFF was created by actor/director Barry Tubb of Snyder, to benefit the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
Tubb says “the John Wayne Film Fest embodies the strength, courage and true grit personified by cancer survivors.”
