The Madness is Here

Well, the madness is upon us. As much as I love ALL sports, including basketball, I primarily give my attention to college hoops during the tourney.The field is now set, following the 4 play-in games, so it's time to get the ball rolling. In order to avoid you falling asleep, I decided to give you my Final Four, as opposed to the whole shebang. So, from the East Region I have Ohio State beating out North Carolina to make it to the Final Four. As the top ranked team in the tourney, Ohio State will prove to be tough to beat. In the West, I picked Duke to get past UConn to make it to their 16th Final Four. Over in the Southwest Region, I think Kansas will edge out Notre Dame to make it to the Final Four. And finally, I think Pittsburgh will have an easy time beating Florida to make it to just their 2nd Final Four.

Yes, I believe all four 1 seeds will make it to the Final Four.

Honestly, I think the best game of the whole tourney will be when Ohio State narrowly edges out Duke to make it to the Championship game. I also think Pittsburgh will surprise the nation when they take down Kansas to reach the big game.

When it's all said and done, in my brackets in my head, I've got Ohio State taking it all by an 8 point margin over Pittsburgh.

Like the playoffs in the NFL, I'm probably dead wrong.
