Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan’s The Trip franchise is quite possibly the most pure and fun series of films out there. Sure, you’ve got your Avengers and your X-Men and your Dom Torettos, but sometimes it’s nice to just sit back and enjoy two hilarious actors go on road trips across Europe together. We’ve been with them through England, Italy, and now they’re off to gorge themselves on pasta primavera in Spain, and we’ve got your first look at the road ahead.

Coogan does his best attempt at beatboxing while Brydon sings about wanting to eat toast by the Spanish coast. Honestly, if this is the entire movie, I would absolutely watch a feature-length version of just this teaser.

Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reunite with director Michael Winterbottom for another chapter in their hilarious road trip series. This time taking their wit and appetites on a tour through picturesque Spain’s finest fine dining, Coogan and Brydon trade celebrity impressions and witty banter over paella and gazpacho, their comic observations on fame and friendship as dry as the finest Spanish wine.

The Trip to Spain is the third in an unexpectedly great series of films that originally started off as a TV miniseries across the pond. Coogan, tasked with reviewing a slew of restaurants on a cross-country road trip, asks his pal Brydon to come along with him. The two actors essentially play themselves, exploring their friendship with each other while drowning in world cuisine, dueling Michael Caine impressions, and making sure to fit in a famous landmark or two along the way.

The Trip to Spain will premiere in the US at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.
