Friday, June 7
2013 French Open — Men’s Semifinals
Roland Garros Stadium, Paris; 7 a.m. (ET); Tennis Channel, NBC
The final four of the men’s draw will face off in hopes of advancing to Sunday’s championship. The marquee matchup is top-seeded Novak Djokovic vs. clay court king Rafael Nadal, while fourth-seeded David Ferrer faces sixth-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the other semifinal match.
2013 NHL Playoffs: Eastern Conference Finals Game 4 — Pittsburgh Penguins at Boston Bruins
TD Bank Garden, Boston; 8 p.m. (ET) on NBC Sports Network
Up three games to none in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference finals, the Boston Bruins will attempt to sweep the top-seeded Pittsburgh Penguins and advance to the Stanley Cup finals. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask has been spectacular against Sidney Crosby and the Penguins attack thus far, while Boston’s Patrice Bergeron has led the offense. Game 5 will be in Pittsburgh on Sunday if the Penguins win on Friday.

2013 French Open: Women’s Final — Maria Sharapova vs. Serena Williams
Roland Garros Stadium, Paris; 9 a.m. (ET); NBC
The two most consistent current players in women’s tennis meet in the finals of the French Open on the red clay of Roland Garros. Top-seeded Serena Williams will bring her power game against the rangy athleticism of No. 2 Maria Sharapova.
St. Louis Cardinals at Cincinnati Reds
Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati; 7:15 p.m. (ET) on Fox
The National League Central-leading St. Louis Cardinals (38-21) bring baseball’s best record into a key weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds (36-24). Tyler Lyons (2-1, 2.66) takes the mound for the Cardinals, while Mat Latos (5-0, 2.90) starts for the Reds.
2013 NHL Playoffs: Western Conference Finals Game 5 — Los Angeles Kings at Chicago Blackhawks
United Center, Chicago; 8 p.m. (ET) on NBC
The Chicago Blackhawks lead the best-of-seven Western Conference finals two games to one heading into Thursday night’s clash with the Kings in Los Angeles. The series will move back to Chicago on Saturday, as Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford and net-minder Jonathan Quick of the Kings try to keep their opponents from scoring.

2013 French Open: Men’s Final

The 2013 French Open will crown its men’s champ when the winners of Friday’s semifinal matches meet in Paris.

Jimmie Johnson still leads the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup standings by 30 points over Carl Edwards, as the circuit heads north into Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Driver Joey Logano won this event in 2012.
2013 NBA Finals: Game 2 — San Antonio Spurs at Miami Heat
American Airlines Arena, Miami; 8 p.m. (ET) on ABC
NBA MVP LeBron James leads the Miami Heat against Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. The Heat are looking for their second consecutive title, while the Spurs seek the franchise’s fifth NBA championship.
