A few dozen of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s biggest fans got a surprise in the mail recently. Then, they got another one at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and a huge one after the duo's Oct. 4 show!

Fans from across America were flown in for a mostly unannounced concert at the Ryman Auditorium, thinking they were only going to the next day's Walk of Fame Star induction. They were told they were being treated to a cocktail hour at the Ryman, but when they arrived, they learned it was really the “Sam and Audrey” show, which became the show where McGraw and Hill announced their 2017 Soul2Soul Tour.

As fans filed out, buzzing about the news and the 90 minutes of music, these superfans stuck around and received personalized envelopes, which they were asked not to open. McGraw and Hill suddenly emerged on stage to prompt fans to tear into their cards all together, and then … well, watch the video above to see it all happen!

These fans from every city the Soul2Soul Tour will visit still got to see the Walk of Fame ceremony, and they were invited to a special brunch at the Bridgestone Arena.

The massive Soul2Soul Tour is McGraw and Hill's third co-headlining tour — their first in a decade. They've performed shows in Las Vegas since, but nothing that will compare to the 65 (and counting) dates they initially announced.

The married couple actually fell in love on the Spontaneous Combustion Tour — McGraw proposed in a trailer at Country Jam in 1996. In 2000 they'd share a stage for the first Soul2Soul Tour. This new tour promises their individual hits plus some of their many duets together.
