Oklahoman and country music super-star Toby Keith just completed his 8th annual Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic. According to the press release Toby and Friends raised more than $650,000. All monies raised go directly to the construction fund of the OK Kids Korral, a special home for children undergoing treatment for cancer. The Kids Korral is to be built in Oklahoma City. Toby Keith's foundation secured the land next to The Children's Hospital
at O.U. Medical Center and the O.U. Cancer Institute.

The two-day tournament, dinner and auction called the "Denim and Diamonds" event was again sold out with more than 750 attending. Hot Items at this years auction included two dinners with Toby, which went for $52,000 each, and an all-inclusive elk hunt with Toby went for $30,000. Other top items included an all-inclusive Houston Astros suite and entry into the Tiger Woods Celebrity Pro Am. The least expensive item in the auction sold for just over $7,000.00. Over 100 items were in the auction.
