The Virginian is coming back as a movie, the lead role will be played by country superstar Trace Adkins. When appearing as a contestant on the TV reality show "Celebrity Apprentice," Adkins said that he thought his country music career may be coming to an end and would like to make the transition into acting full-time.

The big screen adaption puts Adkins as the enforcer for a cattle baron who makes an unwelcome discovery when investigating a rash of cattle rustling devastating the community. Adkins would play the enforcer and his co-star Ron Perlman is set to play the cattle baron. Production starts this week in Vancouver.
