Trisha Yearwood surprised her husband, Garth Brooks, live onstage at a show in Virginia on Friday night (Nov. 11), interrupting him to get the crowd to join her in congratulating him on his recent CMA Entertainer of the Year award.

"Excuse me, honey ... Mr. Brooks," she interrupts him in the video above, which she posted to Facebook. "Before you go any farther ... I'm sorry, I know it's your show."

She says she felt compelled to go out and talk about something during his show because she knew he wouldn't bring it up himself. "I wanna just tell Richmond, Va. about the year that you've had," she states. She then enumerates his achievements in 2016 to the audience, including winning his seventh diamond award from the RIAA.

"In the last 25 years this guy has won four Entertainer of the Year Awards, and then last Wednesday, he made it five," she continues, while a visibly moved Brooks looks on. Yearwood has him come to center stage, where she thunders, "For the band and the crew, we're celebrating the CMA 50th year 2016 Entertainer of the Year, Garth Brooks!"

There's then an enormous light show, accompanied by the drop of 7,777 balloons saying "Entertainer of the Year" and "7 Diamonds," as a wonderful concert keepsake for the fans that night.

" I love you," Yearwood tells Brooks. "Entertainer of the Year, husband of a lifetime."
