We would all be so boned if zombies could actually do this stuff. Or, you know, if they actually existed at all. But especially if they existed AND had mad parkour skills.

Personally, we prefer the slower, shambling zombies, because they don’t remind us about our asthma. Still, back flips are cool though, so we like this video, even though it ramps up our anxiety pretty bad.

You know how sometimes you’re walking through Times Square, and it reminds you a little too much of ‘Blade Runner,’ then you get an email on your hand-sized computer/phone, and you have a massive panic attack because THE FUTURE IS NOW?!!!!! This video does not help that feeling. At all.

‘Arrested Development‘ mania is really picking up as we near the release of the show’s long-awaited fourth season on Netflix. It’s Tobias Funke’s “Sizzling Reel,” which is just Tobais Funke (David Cross) green-screened into a bunch of different movies for your viewing enjoyment.

TNT’s alien action-drama ‘Falling Skies‘ won’t air its third season until Sunday June 9, but already the acclaimed series has made a major change in anticipation of a fourth season pickup. Season 2 and 3 showrunner Remi Aubuchon will step down from the series, tasking former ‘Battlestar Galactica’ and fellow ‘Caprica’ showrunner David Eick to take his place, but will anything change for ‘Falling Skies’ season 4? Find out about the future of the series inside!

A few weeks from now ‘Falling Skies’ will start its third season on TNT, as Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and the 2nd Mass continue their struggle against the Skitters and overlords alike, but already we’ve learned of a regime change in place for the fourth season. Via Deadline, it’s been revealed that ‘Battlestar Galactica’ producer David Eick will take over for former ‘Caprica’ partner Remi Aubuchon in advance of the fourth season.

‘Falling Skies’ has yet to receive a formal fourth season pickup from TNT, though the issue is considered a formality given the show’s success among younger demos, and production schedule that typically dictates writers begin scripting the season before a pickup.

Premiering June 9, the third season of TNT’s alien drama boasts former ’7th Heaven’ star Stephen Collins, who’s appearing as surviving US President Benjamin Hathaway, former ‘House‘ star Robert Sean Wilson as the previously unseen Charleston power-grid moderator Dr. Roger “The Rat King” Kadar, Doug Jones as the 2nd Mass’s new alien ally Cochise, and Noah Wyle’s former ‘E.R.’ co-star Gloria Reuben as Marina Perlata, member of the resistance and aide to Tom Mason.

Bad news, ‘Zombieland‘ fans. In spite of of the modestly enthusiastic reception to Amazon’s ‘Zombieland’ TV series pilot, it seems Amazon has officially decided to pass on continuing production of the series. The streaming service will continue to narrow its field in search of a pilot to take to full season production, but has ‘Zombieland’ officially been put down? Find out about the franchise’s future inside!

Excited as we were to have Ruben Fleischer’s 2009 film ‘Zombieland’ continued in Amazon’s TV format, via Deadline we’ve learned that Amazon has passed on the ‘Zombieland’ pilot, as well as the musical workforce comedy ‘Browsers.’ Amazon will continue narrowing down its choices of which pilot to take to series, largely based on viewer reception to the various series.

‘Zombieland’ the TV series picked up two weeks after the events of the 2009 film, and featured a cast comprised of Kirk Ward as Tallahassee, Maiara Walsh as Wichita, Tyler Ross as Columbus, and Izabela Vodovic as Little Rock. Original ‘Zombieland’ writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the pilot and executive produced the show alongside the movie’s producer, Gavin Polone.

We’ll certainly lament that Amazon decided to pass on the pilot, flawed though it might have been, though we’re told that it’s possible another outlet could pick up the ‘Zombieland’ series. Ecstatic as ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ fans were to finally meet the titular character (Cristin Miloti) in Monday’s season 8 finale “Something New,” longtime viewers couldn’t help but express their curiosity over the choice to confine the final season to a two-day period leading up to Barney and Robin’s wedding. Now, executive producer Carter Bays has opened up about the decision, and promised some extremely twisty episodes to come! Preview ‘How I Met Your Mother’s final episodes inside!

For as much experimentation as we know ‘How I Met Your Mother’ producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas take with the flow of time in the long-running CBS comedy’s narrative, even we raised an eyebrow over the news that ‘HIMYM’s final season would take place over 56 hours leading up to the big wedding. Entertainment Weekly had a chance to catch up with executive producer Carter Bays, who previewed that the final season format might not be as confined as viewers have surmised. Says Bays:

There’s a time jump of some sort in every episode of this show, so you can rest assured the premiere will be no different. That being said, this next season in particular will feature some of the most non-linear episodes we’ve ever done.

EW noted that some exceptions to the rule would occur, potentially in flashback episodes that feature more familiar adventures for Ted, Robin, Barney, Marshall and Lily. Also worth noting is the expected upgrade of Cristina Milioti’s as yet unnamed mother to series regular, as noted by the New York Post.

‘The Hangover Part III‘ is due out in a week, and the one thing the trailers and posters have hammered home is that this is the final chapter of the series. The movie, which stars Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Ken Jeong, is promising closure and this latest (likely final) NSFW trailer plays up that this is the end.

The trailer begins by summarizing the events of the first and second film before leading into footage from the new movie, which starts with Zach Galifianakis saying he must resign from the wolf pack. It then shows some highlights from ‘Part III,’ which include the return of “Black Doug” (Mike Epps) and Leslie Chow (Jeong) acting like a reprehensible jerk. It’s Chow who gets the wolf pack in trouble — this time with John Goodman. Also, there’s lots of swearing.

Though ‘The Hangover Part III’ promises that it’s the end of the franchise, Hollywood has proved reticent about retiring films that make piles and piles of money, and — though most people didn’t like the second film as much as the first — the third film looks like another big hit. With many movie franchises wearing out their welcomes, we’re happy that they say this is the end… but we’ll believe it in ten years. ‘The Hangover Part III’ opens in theaters May 23. Richard “Dick” Trickle died Thursday at the age of 71. His body was discovered next to his pickup truck at a cemetery in Lincoln County, North Carolina, after the longtime NASCAR and short-track driver shot himself, according to police.

Trickle was retired from competitive racing and had been living in Lincoln County for some time. Around noon, the Lincoln County Communications Center received a phone call, saying that there would be a dead body at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boger City. Soon after, authorities found his body.

Over the course of a career that began at age 17 in 1958, Trickle was a two-time American Speed Association champion (1984, 1985), he won seven ARTGO championships, and he took the 1968 USAC Stock Car Rookie of the Year and the 1989 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year.

Trickle became quite famous for his name, becoming a repeated punch line on shows like ESPN’s ‘SportsCenter.’ And though he never had much success on the NASCAR circuit, that didn’t hurt his sense of humor. In 1997, he filmed a commercial for NAPA Auto Parts in which he predicted the winner of an upcoming race: “It’s gonna be me!” A graphic then flashed across the screen that read “Dick is 0 for 243 in Cup races.”

Trickle then smiled and said, “I think we get champagne!”

Kip Moore and country radio: making dreams come true!

When listener Brandon Childers from Moultrie, Ga. needed a creative way to propose to his girlfriend, he called on the syndicated Bobby Bones radio show for help. The hopeful boy in love asked Bones to arrange for Moore to sing to his girlfriend as part of a surprise wedding proposal, and much to his delight — and hers — the ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ star obliged.

Brandon and Marisa got into their vehicle and made the seven-hour haul to Nashville to sit in the main studio on May 15. The lucky lady met Moore, who serenaded her with his hit ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ while sitting in front of her and strumming his guitar. It was sweet, but the best was yet to come.

Bones asked Marisa if she felt that the personal, intimate performance from Moore was awesome before warning her that things were about to get even more awesome. That’s when Brandon got down on one knee and popped the question. Naturally, Marisa burst into tears and accepted.

Moore was totally game to be a part of such a life-changing moment, saying, “That was cool. When they asked me to do it, I was like, ‘Yeah, you know I would like to be able to do something like this for somebody,’ and after seeing how moved he was and how moved she was, I am so glad I did it and I was a part of it.”

Brandon Childers (and his assistants) are proof that romance is not dead, and his original proposal resulted in the “aww” moment of all “aww” moments.

One Today Show reporter in Australia had a real Ron Burgundy moment. It seems Roz Kelly will also read anything that’s on the teleprompter. Fortunately, her co-anchor Karl Stefanovic didn’t put an F-bomb in there like Veronica Corningstone, but he did get her to imply that she enjoys the “cookies” in Amsterdam.

Kelly took it in stride, and has warned Stefanovic that this means war. We all know how this ends — somebody is going to fall into a bear den at the zoo. Oh, wait, that was ‘Anchorman.’

See? Deer really do come out of nowhere!

Recently, a public transit driver in western Pennsylvania had an unexpected passenger board the vehicle. The above video shows a deer crashing through the windshield of a public bus and then proceeding to freak out beyond belief. We’re not sure if that’s because of the confined space, the unfamiliar terrain, or because it was seemingly thrust through the window of a gargantuan bus. Luckily, all was fine once the doors were opened.

Kudos to the driver for remaining oddly calm throughout the whole ordeal. Even when the passenger didn’t pay the fare, which we’re told costs a Buck. Come on, we were all thinking it.

Way, way back before ‘The Hangover 3‘ was even a twinkle in Todd Phillips’ eye, co-stars Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong already knew each other, and you can watch them perform stand-up together in this video unearthed from the prehistoric year of 1998.

Before he was a star, Zach Galifianakis performed stand-up comedy (and he still sometimes does), and as it turns out, so did Ken Jeong. The pair can be seen together in this video below, filmed at Petterson’s Coffeehouse in Los Angeles in 1998. We had no idea that these guys even knew each other prior to ‘The Hangover’ series!

In the video, Galifianakis has the audience read a letter he’s prepared for them, and does a little riff on an Alanis Morissette song (this is 1998 after all) before asking Ken Jeong to come up for a segment called “Everything a Greek guy wanted to know about an Asian but was too afraid to ask.” It involves some stereotype humor and Jeong feigning offense with a wonderfully uncomfortable blank stare, but then Jeong gets to turn the tables on Galifianakis with a segment called, “Everything an Asian guy wanted to know about a Greek but was too afraid to ask.”

Just when you thought there couldn’t be another ‘Pacific Rim‘ trailer to show us any new footage of Guillermo del Toro‘s epic fight between robots and monsters, here comes the “main” one from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

Sure, there are more mentions of those catchphrases we’ve heard countless times — “today we’re canceling the apocalypse!” and “go big or go extinct” — and more of the same footage that got us pumped in weeks past, but there are a few gems. Like how about an image of one of the Kaiju monsters unleashing a storm of electrical pulses capable of laying these Jaeger bots flat on their asses?

‘Pacific Rim’ imagines what would happen if Godzilla-sized sea monsters known as Kaiju rose from the ocean depths and ravaged major cities. Well, what happens is that humanity rises up against them by initiating the “Jaeger program” — the creation of these giant robots each manned by a pair of pilots. Who will win out in the end?

‘Pacific Rim’ features a cast that includes Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi, Idris Elba, Charlie Day and Ron Perlman, and hits theaters this July 12. Check out the main ‘Pacific Rim’ trailer below and re-watch some of the footage we are all looking forward to seeing on the big screen.

People in China really need to work on how to behave in public.

First, there was the woman who went dookie in a subway station elevator and now comes this wizard who decided to destroy a Maserati.

That’s just dumb, but what’s even dumber is why he did it. The car’s owner decided to manhandle the $430,000 Quattroporte because he was unhappy with the service he received at the dealership, claiming he got used parts and employees failed to repair everything he asked them to fix.

Instead, of, oh, you know, going to a new body shop, ripping the dealership a new one online or calling whatever China’s version of the Better Business Bureau is, the owner did the next most sensible thing: he hired some goons to pummel the vehicle with sledgehammers in front of a crowd of curious onlookers. Not a good investment, you say? Well, considering he has the money to buy a Maserati, you can bet he also has the funds to destroy one.

Let’s hope this doesn’t start a trend. We’d hate to see people smash their 60-inch plasma TV to pieces because the cable guy didn’t show up on time or chop off an arm because their insurance company denied their claim to cover their asthma medication.

A 14-month-old girl in Philadelphia went on one wild ride before she ever had a chance to get on the train.

The girl was in her stroller on a subway platform when she rolled onto the tracks.

An official with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority explained what happened:

What it looks like to us is that the mother became distracted by something, didn’t apply the brake on the stroller and the stroller was able to move off the platform and onto the tracks.”

The mother and others in the vicinity jumped onto the tracks to help save the baby, while police ordered an oncoming train to stop. The baby was brought to a hospital for a cut on her forehead.

It should also be noted that the item that jumps out of the stroller once it hit the tracks is either a towel or a bag – not the baby.

We’re certainly inclined to check out Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s single-camera ‘The Crazy Ones,’ as well as Chuck Lorre‘s latest show ‘Mom,’ Will Arnett’s ‘The Millers’ and new dramas ‘Hostages‘ and ‘Intelligence,’ so preview the newest offerings inside!

Joining the insanity of Upfront week is network powerhouse CBS, consistently reminding us of their #1 status as they laid out their newest trailers for fall comedies and dramas. Among the multiple presentations, David E. Kelley’s upcoming ‘The Crazy Ones’ — which stars Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar — certainly caught our attention, as did Chuck Lorre’s Anna Faris vehicle ‘Mom.’ Some solid potential all around, even if the jokes fell a bit flat, which is more than we can say for Greg Garcia’s ‘The Millers,’ which features Will Arnett and Margo Martindale.

Also on deck are the Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell, and Kal Penn vehicle ‘We Are Men’ — which looks better than we expected — and alternating CBS dramas ‘Hostages’ and ‘Intelligence.’ The Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott show ‘Hostages’ looks difficult to maintain beyond a solitary season, while ‘LOST‘ star Josh Holloway’s ‘Intelligence’ comes across a bit too high-concept for the usual CBS fare, despite some winning performances.

A few weeks ago we heard the inspired news that Adult Swim stop-motion animation gurus of ‘Robot Chicken‘ had begun crafting a ‘Simpsons‘ couch gag to air later in the season, and the finished product might just be our favorite couch gag of the year. Donut transformations, exploding Flanders and stop-motion murder await in the ‘Simpsons’ ‘Robot Chicken’ couch gag inside!

Everything from ‘Breaking Bad‘ to ‘Game of Thrones‘ seems to have gotten its due from ‘The Simpsons’ iconic couch gags, and now ‘Robot Chicken’ have given Springfield the stop-motion treatment. The actual ‘Robot Chicken’ team crafted the opening, which features Homer Simpson waking up in his new action figure body, and discovering his stop-motion powers as he wreaks havoc all over Springfield.

And yes, a shocking amount of Springfield citizens end up rather brutally murdered, so there’s that. The clip aired with Sunday’s new episode “The Fabulous Faker Boy,” while this Sunday will see fellow Adult Swim and FOX staple Seth MacFarlane lending his voice to the finale “Dangers on a Train.”

Brad Paisley made a promise last autumn to Lee Feldman, an Ephrata, Penn. resident who was stricken with pancreatic cancer. That promise was to use Feldman’s gift of a prized custom-made guitar on Paisley’s new album, ‘Wheelhouse,’ and to not let the guitar lay unused and forgotten.  

“I was given a guitar in my meet and greet by a man who was dying of pancreative cancer and had weeks to live,” Paisley explains of how he got the instrument. “He was a really feisty, wonderful old guy, gave me this great old guitar that was an electric, sort of Les Paul-like, and he said, ‘I want you to have this… if you’re going to play it, I want you to have it. If you ain’t going to play it, give it to someone else. I don’t want it collecting dust.’”

Paisley followed the instruction he was given. Toward the end of recording ‘Wheelhouse,’ he brought the guitar into the studio and set it down — and then it hit him. “And I went, ‘I know the song for that,’” the singer recalls, “And that’s what plays the guitar leads on ‘Officially Alive.’ As the album ends, it’s one of the last things you hear.”

“He told me, he said, ‘I want this to live on,’” Paisley remembers. “So we ended the record with it.”

It’s exactly how the terminally ill fan, who sadly passed away in November, would have wanted it. He and his guitar are living on forever in music history on ‘Wheelhouse,’now a No. 1 record for the country star.

Paisley will probably always hold a soft spot in his heart for that special promise and the guitar that Lee Feldman didn’t want just anyone to have. Whether he brings it with him on tour or he leaves it in the safekeeping of his home, it’s certain that the guitar will be cherished by its new owner for years to come.
