Twitter has unveiled their easy-to-use new video app for both the iPhone and iTouch called 'Vine.' This app allows users to post short videos (about 6 seconds each) to their Twitter account, Facebook account, or even to the Vine community.

Since video blogging is all the rage now, Vine allows its users to expand their creativity in the same vein as Twitter's 140-character limit does. You have no editing tools with the app and so you better come up with a witty, cool, or just plain off-the-wall video to catch viewers' attention.

However, while Vine sounds cool on paper, it does have its issues. To begin, the video loops constantly and the only way to shut it off is to actually click out. Annoying! Next, a video blogging app that only works with your iPod or iTouch's back camera? Fail. Finally, and this is a more serious concern, some users are worried that the Terms of Service are so vague that some people could use this leniency to take sexting to a whole new level. Indeed, Vine is already flooded with porn.

Still, despite these issues, this is a nifty little app, especially since it basically combines Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Who knows? We may be seeing the end of Instagram once and for all!
