Granger Smith has had an amazing breakthrough year, and his set at WE Fest 2016 is certain to feature the song that has finally cracked national radio for the longtime Texas star.

Smith has been a fixture in the Texas music scene for years. He worked tirelessly to build his touring base and fan support nationwide, releasing his first major label album, Remington, in March 2016 via Wheelhouse Records. The album’s lead single, “Backroad Song,” reached No. 1 in February.

He'll be armed with that breakthrough hit, as well as his new single, "If the Boot Fits," and past fan favorites when he hits the stage at WE Fest on Friday (Aug. 5) as part of the stellar lineup. William Michael Morgan, Montgomery Gentry and Billy Currington will also perform that day before headliner Kid Rock rocks Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn., to close out the second of three days.

Smith's humorous alter ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr., is also likely to make an appearance on the WE Fest stage. The uber-patriotic good ol' boy has become a YouTube sensation, and don't be surprised if he performs "Merica," a new track from Remington that celebrates the Land of the Free.

Eric Church and Tim McGraw are set to headline the other nights of the festival, topping off a bill that is set to eclipse any in the festival's 35-year history.

“We are pulling out all the stops to bring our fans a festival in 2016 that is sure to be considered the biggest WE Fest yet, so don’t wait to order your tickets and camping for 2016. Get them now!” exclaims GM Bob Bliss.
