Wearable Vibrating Device Simulates Getting Shot or Stabbed [VIDEO]

Have you ever thought, “I wish I could know what it felt like to get shot or stabbed, but without the risk of death or permanent injury?” Well, a Japanese research group may have figured out a wearable way to simulate the feeling without all the actual shooting or stabbing.
The sensation of an object passing through your body can be simulated when two opposing surfaces of skin are vibrated simultaneously. It creates a ‘phantom sensation’ in the space in between that can be manipulated to simulate different sensations through adjustments of frequency.
The technology can be applied to fighting or first person shooting games to heighten the experience.
