The final trailer for Wonder Woman arrived this weekend, and it delivers on everything great about the character. Now we just hope the movie can live up to it.

Gal Gadot herself showed up at the MTV Movie and TV Awards to debut the new and final trailer for Wonder Woman --- and to honor The Fast and The Furious franchise. Now five weeks away from its theatrical debut, Warner Bros. has finally deemed the film worthy of promotion. There's been some controversy over the lack of Wonder Woman hype compared to some of WB's other films, like Justice League and Suicide Squad, but at least now the final trailer (the ninth, compared to JL's seven and Suicide Squad's 30+) gives us something to look forward to in June.

This footage gives us our best looks at some of the major villains from Wonder Woman's past that will appear, including Dr. Poison, as well as showing off Diana in action across the front of World War I. There are also some solemn moments with Diana and Hippolyta that have us eager to see more of what life on Themyscira is like in the DC Cinematic Universe.

Chris Pine gets a bit more of the spotlight in this lengthy trailer as well, giving his Steve Trevor a bit more fleshing out than we've seen in earlier footage. I'm sure he'll be a capable human hero compared to Wonder Woman, but all the butts in those seats are really there for one reason: to see the first and most recognizable female superhero of all time finally get her due on the silver screen.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to watch this trailer another dozen times.
