Get in Free to the Abilene Zoo During Teddy Bear Day

This Saturday, July 11th is Teddy Bear Day at the Abilene Zoo. Children 12 and under who bring a Teddy Bear (or other stuffed animal) with them will get free entry into the zoo.

This Saturday, if you have kiddos younger than 12, let them drag along their favorite stuffed bear or other animal and they will get into the zoo for free. Plus, the zoo keepers will be giving special presentations on the Abilene Zoo's North American bears, Boris and Teddy.

Saturday, between 10 am and 2 pm their will be informational activities about and with Boris and Teddy. Plus, don't forget that the new Carousel will be up and running as well as other great zoo fun. Check out the Caribbean Cove, Reptile House, Bird Gardens, Wetlands, Safari Express Train ride and more.

Be sure to take along a little money for the watering hole, in case you get hungry or thirsty or to purchase something fun from the zoo store.

Admission:

• $6.00 for Adults (ages 13-59)
• $5.00 for Seniors (ages 60+)
• $3.50 for children (ages 3-12) **bring your Teddy Saturday and get in free!!
• Children under 3 free!

Hours:

• Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
• Last admittance at 4 p.m.
• Every Thurs. June–August, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Last admittance at 8 p.m.
